Rooted in her Balinese and Greek heritage, Yasmin’s filmmaking is infused with a unique blend of cultural narratives and perspectives. This background not only enriches her personal identity but profoundly shapes her creative endeavors, offering a unique lens through which she views the world.
Through AIDC's Fresh Cuts Documentary Pitch, she developed DYING TO SUCCEED a documentary exploring the life of an online influencer battling cancer, and is now further developing this very personal project for production in 2025.
Yasmin previously served as director's attachment to Gracie Otto (The Last Impresario, Under The Volcano) on Season 2 of HEARTBREAK HIGH (Netflix), was co-director of episodes of the ABC digital short series ROSALINE’S UNTAMING.
Yasmin is also the driving force behind Culture Machine, a production company dedicated to nurturing young creators. Through Culture Machine, Yasmin has provided emerging talents with their first opportunities and access to a valuable network of clients, fostering a new generation of filmmakers.
